Well, I guess the first indication I had of my gaiety was when I had my first real crush in sixth grade. It was on this boy named Russell, who is a dear, sweet, boy and who is a wonderful friend. By the way, I'm 16 and in grade eieven just now. But anyway, I denied my sexuality for years and considered myself "straight with a weird fetish," although I wasn't attracted to girls at all. But then, last year, my best friend Yimothy came out, and none of our mutual friends rejected him, so this year I decided to come out too. After a dance, our friends and I had all gone off to play truth or dare in the parking lot. Having been dared to tell everyone something they didn't know about me, I just told them -"I'm gay." Everyone laughed, and Yimmy said "finally! I've been wondering how long you were going to wait until you told me!" I was a bit miffed at first that everyone already knew, but realize I'm not the most masculine person in the world.
