Ms-HD Speaks

Dear Ms-HD,

I am a 23 year old gay male, and i have had more than my share of abusive relationships and rape, but now that that part of my life is over it still haunts me and it's making it difficult to have a decent relationship and for me i am starting to lose hope that i will ever find anyone.  I haven't had a date in a long time and alot of people are calling that desperate but i am scared to be alone.  I am very feminine and i have considered myself transgendered but i will never go for sex change and that makes it hard to find a guy who can except that.  I have tried everything from personals, meeting guys at bars you name it i have tried it.  Do you have any advice that will someone how help me?  I don't what else to try?

Ms-HD Answers:

Dear Abused in the Past,

First of all, let Me say,  you are not alone and I am sorry to hear
that you have suffered as you have.  That is in the past, keep it
there.  Abusive relationships have to be out! No more! No matter! You
are better than that.

Second of all, there are many men out there who desire a feminized man
in their life.  No one says you have to have surgery, it is NOT
necessary to do that to be or feel feminine.

Thirdly, safety is an important issue.  Get to know someone on a
social level before you ever go home with them or take them home with
you.  Take a course in defense.  Lots of females do that, so why
shouldn't you?

Fourthly, sex last a few minutes, what are you gonna do the rest of
the time you are with this person?  That is why you need to think
beyond sex when choosing a partner.

Don't worry about what other people think or say about your not
dating.  You do what is best for you.
