One cannot claim to be a Christian and also be "gay." It is an absolute contradiction in terms at the very least, and a self-deceptive lie, always. I feel that the Pope took a bold stand, and whether you agree with or not, he stand is backed up by the Word of God. But the good new is that you are not condemned to live this lifestyle. St. John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world so much that he gave his Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice to pay for our sins. And if we would just believe in Him, we can lived a blessed life on this earth, as well as have eternal life. What a gracious Saviour!! entire letter

Must Have Missed the Inquisition

He is not calling anyone to discriminate against gays and lesbians, he is pointing out that the act itself of homosexuality is immoral and wrong, and that public promotion of immoral lifestyles is wrong. entire letter

Some of their Best Friends are Gay

As a Catholic AND a friend of several lesbians, I was proud that His Holiness made that speech and stood up to defend the beliefs of the Church and people like me. entire letter
