IN THE KEY OF DEATH, my seventh book and third thriller for Five Star/Imprint of Gale, ships late March, and we expect it will be available by the time we kick off our series of launch activities April 5 at the Nicholls State University �Writers Jubilee Jambalaya and Book Fair� in Houma, LA, where we�ll be heading at the invitation of irrepressible Molly Bolden of Houma�s Bent Pages Bookstore (top photo), whose enticements included promise of a �real� Cajun meal of crab, shrimp and crawfish boil, plus gumbo and potato salad�
AMONG THE LAST OUTINGS of �07 was Joan Hansen�s eighth all-day �Men of Mystery� celebration in Irvine, CA, where fifty featured authors included (middle photo, from left) Jonathan Miller, Bob L, Shane Gericke and Tim Green...Add to that multiple store and library
appearances with five other L.A. area authors featured in the HOLLYWOOD AND CRIME anthology edited by Robert J. Randisi, including (bottom photo, from left) Bob L, Bobby McCue of the hosting Mystery Bookstore in Westwood, CA, Lee Goldberg, Ken Kuhlken, Gar Anthony Haywood.
