I knew as a teen I was destined for more than adolescent experimentation. My dad walked in (after years of denial that i could possibly be his son) and perhaps this cemented my fate. Seems he walked in on a rather delicate moment and was shocked (or maybe not) to say the least. I am not sure he is my parent anymore, nor is that the point. What i have finally found is a sense of peace, strength and compassion for others who either went through their own personal hell or ultimately died trying to reconcile their lives. Be happy.
