My story is no different than most. I struggled for years to make my sexuality disappear. I married, fathered children, and eventually collapsed inside of myself. When I no longer could function as a human being, God led me to a pasture of peace. He sat me down and told me again the story of His love and grace. Now I dismiss the lies of those who say God doesn't want me. I'm dealing with being out, some days are better than other's (you just can't erase 27 yrs of fear and denial with a single wipe ), and I greet each day hoping that prejudice and hatred will die.
